Ukraine military forces-Post Crimea annexation by Russia

After Russian forces annexed Crimea, Ukraine is facing separatists from Russian speaking threatening to join Russian, as reported by Reuters.

There has not been many major international conflicts between sovereign nations after the Iraqi war.

The strength of the Russian military and its nuclear arsenal gives it complete hegemony in Eastern Europe and around the Black Sea.

Sevastopol, formerly a Soviet base of the Black sea fleet, is a famous military stronghold.

It was fought over by the British, Ottoman Empire and French during the Crimean war.

It was conquer also by Von Manstein's 11th Army which captured the city by siege.
