Warrior Culture-the samurai

I came across a few documentaries about the Edo period of Japan.

Edo period better known as the Tokugawa period is the age of the Samurai.

The Edo period is a violent time in Japan, a feudal state where warlords were in a constant feud to vie for power. The strongest warlord is elected the Shogun or general.

The Samurai follows a code of bushido. For the samurai, they are professional swordsmen who carries 2 swords all the time, everyday and even within touching distance when they sleep.
